Judy McBeth

Judy Lynn (Smiley) McBeth, age 76, Albany, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2024, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

Born in Coldwater, Ohio, on Oct. 11, 1947, she grew up in Redkey and was a 1965 graduate of Redkey High School. Judy retired in 2013 from Ferrell Gas, Albany, after working there for 47½ years. She enjoyed reading, shopping, being outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Skylan McBeth (wife: Jill), Troy, Michigan, and daughter, Brooke McBeth (partner: John Mock Jr.), Alexandria; sister Ronda Moreno, Muncie; and grandchildren Joseph McBeth (wife: Chelsea), Winchester, Nicklaus McBeth, Troy, Michigan, and Lauren McBeth, Troy, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Michael D. McBeth, who died in 2022; her parents; and a sister, Linda Miller.

Services will be 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at Meacham Funeral Service. Entombment will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Visiting hours are Friday from 3 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Cancer Services of East Central Indiana (Little Red Door).
