Two candidates have filed thus far to run for Jay School Board. Aaron Clark has filed to run in District 4 (Richland and Knox townships outside of Dunkirk) and Chad Towell has filed in District 6 (Wabash, Noble, Madison and Pike townships). The District 1 (City of Portland) seat is also up for election this year. Current school board members whose seats are up this year are Jason Phillips (District 1), Phil Ford (District 4) and Vickie Reitz (District 6).

Filing, which was moved up on the calendar this year, runs through June 20.
