Turning accident
A Portland woman complained of back pain after a Portland man turned his vehicle in front of hers on U.S. 27 about 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Lonnie D. Mock, 59, was driving his 2019 Chevrolet Silverado north on the highway when he missed his turn onto county road 300 North. He began turning into a driveway as 55-year-old Barbara A. Laux was driving her 2015 Ford Escape south on the highway. Laux told police Mock turned in front of her, causing her to crash into his truck.
Damage was estimated between $10,000 and $25,000. Both vehicles were towed.
Hit concrete
Damage is estimated between $5,000 and $10,000 after a Fort Wayne man struck a concrete slab in the Pak-A-Sak parking lot in Bryant about 9:34 p.m. Tuesday.
Jon G. Englehard, 43, was driving his 2013 Chevrolet Silverado in the parking lot at 893 Indiana 18 and attempting to turn onto the highway. His vehicle hit the concrete and had to be towed from the scene.
