Probation violation

A Portland man was arrested Wednesday for violating his probation.

Jake D. Boolman, 24, 1610 E. Division Road, pleaded guilty in Jay Superior Court to operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Level 6 felony. He was sentenced to one year in Jay County Jail with 353 days suspended and given two days credit for time served.

A petition alleging he violated the conditions of his probation was filed in court March 27.

Boolman was released from Jay County Jail on a $3,000 bond.
