Anna Sutton

Anna Mae (Orr) Sutton, age 98, passed away peacefully at her home in Portland on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 26, 2024.

Anna is survived by two sons, Douglas Sutton, Geneva, and Rennie Sutton, Port Orchard, Washington, and three grandchildren. 

Anna graduated from Bryant High School in 1944. Anna was the oldest child of Hamor and Ollie Orr, Bryant. Anna was preceded in death by her parents and brothers William Orr, Joe Orr and sister Mary (Orr) Robledo. 

Anna worked in nursing at Jay County Hospital for 32 years. Anna was a Christian and was a member of the former First Baptist Church, Portland, helping with church functions, especially vacation Bible school. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 2, 202,4 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Anna will be buried at Gravel Hill Cemetery, west of Bryant.
