Beverly Myers
Beverly R. Myers, age 87, of Portland passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
She was born in Randolph County on Dec. 29, 1936, the daughter of John LeRoy and Lucille Irene (Campbell) Boyd. She was married to Leland Myers and he preceded her in death.
Beverly worked as a cook at the Breezeway Restaurant and others. She enjoyed playing cards, putting puzzles together and fishing.
Surviving are three sons, Philip Myers of Ridgeville, Mark Myers of Portland and Allan Meckstroth of Portland; one sister, Tiny Reitz of Winchester; one granddaughter; and five great-grandchildren.
There will be no services at this time.
Baird-Freeman Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
