Drug possession
A Muncie man was arrested Friday for drug possession.
Jacob J. Westlake, 33, 3012 E. Royerton Road, is charged in Jay Superior Court with two Level 6 felonies for possession of a narcotic drug and unlawful possession of a syringe.
He was being held in Jay County Jail.
Strangulation
Two Indiana men were arrested Thursday for strangulation.
Armando Gallegos-Vargas, 21, 118 E. Elder St., Portland, was preliminarily charged with a Level 6 felony. He was being held in Jay County Jail on a $4,000 bond.
Antonio S. Moore, 44, 327 Thistlewood Drive, Greenwood, was preliminarily charged with a Level 6 felony for strangulation and a Level 6 felony for domestic battery. He was being held in jail on a $4,500 bond.
