Linda Arnold

Linda Arnold, age 76, a resident of Portland, passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

Linda was born Sept. 18, 1948, in Portland the daughter of John and Alta (Sockrider) Slusser. Linda graduated from Portland High School in 1966. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Portland where she was very active with Kingdom Kids.

Survivors include:

Brother — Mike Slusser (wife: Marshia), Portland, Indiana

She was preceded in death by a son, Steed Arnold; and a daughter, Dawnetta Arnold.

Visitation will be held Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Fellowship Baptist Church, 289 S. 200 West, Portland, Indiana. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Gardens of Memory in Marion, Indiana. 

Memorials may be directed to Fellowship Baptist Church, Kingdom Kids or Teen Ministry.
