Troy Geesaman
Troy L. Geesaman, 74, of Dunkirk, Indiana, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 30, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.
Troy was born in Bluffton, Indiana, on Sept. 26, 1950, a son of the late Martha (Cash) and Kermit Geesaman. He attended Pennville High School and was formerly employed as a truck driver for the state highway department.
Troy was a member of the Lighthouse Church in Dunkirk, Indiana, and enjoyed driving, watching basketball games on TV, country music and collecting tools. He will be remembered as a loving husband, good provider and kind-hearted man who would do anything for you.
Troy is survived by his wife Maxine Geesaman, who he has shared 18 wonderful years with; one daughter, Sherry Welch; two stepsons, Robert Cooper (Natalie) and Terry Cooper (Kim); one stepdaughter, Beverly Lawson (Dan); four brothers, Earl, Tim, Richard and Ralph Geesaman; one sister, Connie Ford; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Martha and Kermit Geesaman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 11 to 1 at MJS Mortuaries – Redkey Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Larry Berry officiating. Burial will be held in Dunkirk IOOF Cemetery.
