Houseplant hacks save horticulture
Avoid houseplant havoc in your home.
Houseplant Hacks, a program at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Jay County Public Library, aims to share tips to keep plants growing and healthy. Jay County Purdue Extension Office’s Emily Kring will share tricks for keeping plants alive and making them thrive.

Take back is Saturday
Indiana State Police will participate in Prescription Drug Take Back day on Saturday.
The initiative seeks to prevent prescription drug abuse and theft by properly disposing of unwanted prescription drugs. Drug take back sites will be set up nationwide, including at the state police post at 9022 S. Indiana 67, Pendleton. Prescription drugs will be accepted at the location from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Needles will not be accepted.)
Celebrate arbor
Minnetrista Museum and Gardens will host the 2025 Muncie Arbor Day Celebration from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
The free event will include exploring nature, planting trees and being able to take home a tree to plant. There will be an Arbor Day proclamation at 10:30 a.m.
Brick Street Market
Psi Iota Xi will host Brick Street Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in downtown Fort Recovery. Vendors will be set up along Wayne Street.
Friends of the Fort Recovery Library will also host a puppet show from 10 a.m. to noon in front of the library,
