Danny Caupp

Danny K. Caupp, age 75, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, at Mercer Health in Coldwater.

He was born on Jan. 12, 1950, in Union City, Indiana, to the late Dale and Juanita (Baxter) Caupp.

Danny is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann (Fellers) Caupp; his children, Jeff Caupp of Saratoga, Indiana, Darla Chalfant of Parker, Indiana, and Kim Green of Lynn, Indiana; his grandchildren, Kaila Caupp, Therin Springer, Lavin Caupp and Amanda Hart; his three great-grandchildren; and his sister, Nettie (Michael) Buckingham of Union City, Indiana.

Danny was a member of the Fort Recovery VFW, Rockford Eagles, Celina Moose and the Celina American Legion, where he enjoyed many conversations and good times with those around him. At home, he could be found in his man cave, relaxing while watching a NASCAR race or cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Per Danny’s wishes, there will be no services.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Mercer County Humane Society.
