Regina Lanning

Regina Lanning, age 82, a resident of Portland, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at her home in Portland. 

Regina was born July 12, 1943, in Union City, Indiana, the daughter of Henry Lee and Lois Minerva (Matchett) Lynch. She worked for Tyson Foods in Portland for several years. 

Regina married Oscar Lanning on Feb. 10, 1978.

Her husband — Oscar Lanning, Portland, Indiana 

Her children — Wayne Lanning, Portland, Indiana, Carol Lipp (husband: David), Hollansburg, Ohio, Verle Sullenbarger (wife: Amy), Greenville, Ohio, and Connie Eley, Greenville, Ohio 

Son-in-law — Ed Nestor, Union City, Ohio 

Her siblings — Walter Lynch, Arlington, Texas, Judy Russell, Granbury, Texas, and Robert Lynch, Greenville, Ohio 

Ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gary Lynch; a daughter, Beverly Nestor; and a grandson, Dustin Brickler. 

No services are scheduled at this time.
