Robert M. Anderson

Bob's Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, came for him early Nov. 25, 2025, at his home. 

Bob was born on June 15, 1928, to Edna and Maurice Anderson, Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from Laconia High School in 1946, The Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in 1950 and Ball State University with a master’s degree in 1960. 

He was preceded  by his father (1935); brother Jim (1976); mother (1981); his beloved wife June (2012); his sister Jeanne (2014); and his son Rob (2020). 

He is survived by his daughter, Debra; and son, Jeff (Marti). Also surviving are six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  

Our love and thanks to Leroy and Shayla Brown Family for being there for us always. Melanie Whetsell, Jackie McCullum, Candy Hatzell (Cliff), Shannon Freeman-Frogge and Dad, your kindness will never be forgotten. 

Visitation will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at Redkey Faith Ministries Church. Masonic services and funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Craig Cotherman officiating. Private family burial will be held in Hillcrest Cemetery in Redkey. 

In lieu of flowers, Bob asked that donations be made to Redkey Faith Ministries (PO Box 93, Redkey, IN 47373) due to his love of his church and church family.
