A Cookies and Cocoa with Santa event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 6, at The Life Center of Jay County, 1209 S. Shank St., Portland. The event will include a cookie walk fundraiser.

The Santa House in the east 100 block of Main Street in Portland will be open from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6. It will be available to the public to visit with Santa, take pictures and share their holiday wishes. The house will also be open from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12.
