Ronald Lee

Ronald Lee, age 81, a resident of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Everheart Hospice Care Center in Greenville, Ohio.  

Ronald was born Jan. 31, 1944, in Portland, Indiana, the son of Lawrence “Jim” and Pauline “Marie” Shawver Lee. He graduated from Portland High School and served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. He worked for Hartzell Fan in Portland and was a member of the Fort Recovery VFW, Fort Recovery American Legion and Portland Eagles Lodge. 

Ronald enjoyed playing cards, horse racing, Elvis Presley, mowing and watching his children and grandchildren having fun.

His children —  Susan Lee (Ernest Hollie), Milan, Michigan, Shannon Lee, Ft. Recovery, Ohio, April Bihn (Husband: Chuck), Portland, Indiana, Regina Nieto,Piqua, Ohio, and Johnny Terry (wife: Lisa), Geneva, Indiana 

One sister — Diana Ransom (husband: Jay) – Bluffton, Indiana 

Ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two grandchildren, Mylee and Cameron Morgan.  

Private graveside services and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
