Drug possession

A Portland man was arrested Saturday for drug possession and other charges.

Jose S. Jimenez, 18, 522 W. Race St., was preliminarily charged with a Level 6 felony for possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug, Class A misdemeanors for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and resisting an officer, a Class B misdemeanor for leaving the scene of an accident, and three Class C misdemeanors for possession of paraphernalia, driving without a license and consuming alcohol as a minor.

He was being held on a $4,500 bond in Jay County Jail.
