Dealing narcotics

A Dunkirk man was sentenced to more than a decade in prison for dealing narcotics.

Cody J. Barger, 38, 125 West Jay St., pleaded guilty in Jay Circuit Court to dealing in a narcotic drug, a Level 2 felony. He was sentenced to 25 years in Indiana Department of Correction with 11 years suspended. He was recommended for purposeful incarceration.

As part of his plea agreement, two level 6 felonies for unlawful possession of a syringe and maintaining a common nuisance, as well as a habitual offender enhancement, were dismissed.
