Minnetrista Museum and Gardens will host its Garden Fair from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 9, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 10.
The free event will feature plants, landscaping tools and crafts for gardening projects. There will also be a live Bob Ross public demo as well as Bob Ross painting workshops. Maybelle Music Fest performers will provide live music, and there will be activities for children.
Minnetrista will also host a torchworking workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, and Thursday, May 8
Additional Bob Ross painting workshops are scheduled for May 16, 22 and 29, and June 13 and 27.
Minnetrista is located at 1200 N. Minnetrista Parkway, Muncie.

Second Harvest Food Bank will host tailgate food distributions next week.
Distributions are scheduled for:
•10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Second Harvest Food Bank, 6621 N. Old State Route 3, Muncie
•10 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Jay County Fairgrounds, 806 E. Votaw St., Portland
•10 a.m. Thursday, May 8, at Muncie Mall, 3401 N. Granville Ave.
•10 a.m. Friday, May 9, at First Baptist Church, 709 S. Memorial Drive, New Castle
•10 a.m. Friday, May 9, at Goodrich Park, 701 N. Union St., Winchester
Programs scheduled
Charles W. Brown Planetarium at Ball State University will host a series of programs.
The events in May include Kitz the Cat’s SuperMoon Adventure, which is intended for families and groups with children ages 6 and older. It will run at 5 p.m. Friday, May 9, and 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10.
