Bluffton (14-6, 5-0 ACAC) put up four runs in the top of the sixth inning, but the Patriots (5-9, 2-2 ACAC) punched back with four of their own on singles by Leighton Brown and Carter Fugiett.
In the seventh, Aiden Phillps starting things off with a single and Garrett Bennett and Drew Schemenaur reached base by getting hit by pitches.
