Keith Cline, age 81, a resident of Pennville, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
Keith was born on Jan. 25, 1944, in Portland, Indiana, the son of John and Velma (Lovell) Cline. Keith was a 1962 graduate of Pennville High School, and was in the U.S. Army National Guard and was stationed in Puerto Rico.
Keith retired from the Jay County Highway Department after 35 years of service. Keith was an avid coon hunter and was a member of the Bryant Coon Hunters Club. He enjoyed mowing yards and chewing beech nut chewing tobacco.
Keith married Linda Landers on Oct.13, 1963.

Two daughters — Karen Garringer (companion: Robert), Pennville, Indiana, and Becky Cline, Pennville, Indiana
Three Sons — Robert Cline (wife: Christina), Huber Heights, Ohio, Jeffery Cline, Pennville, Indiana, and Stephen Cline, Pennville, Indiana
Several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John D. Cline and Velma Cline; two brothers, Carl Cline and Larry Cline; a sister, Phyllis Hart; and a great-granddaughter, Allison Garringer.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, at the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 15, at 11 a.m. at the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland, and burial will follow at IOOF Twin Hill Cemetery in Pennville.
