Optimist International North District Regional Oratorical

Optimist International North District Regional Oratorical contest was held at Huntington College on April 26. Londyn Cavanaugh of East Jay Elementary, pictured above at right, placed first and won a $2,500 scholarship from the Optimist International Foundation. Sam Gibson of Bloomfield Elementary, pictured above at left, placed third and won a $1,000 scholarship. Cavanaugh will compete in June at the next level competition in St. Louis. (Photo provided)
