Richard Straley, age 62, a resident of Portland, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
Richard was born Nov. 2, 1962, in Portland, Indiana, the son of Robert “Bob” and Deloris (Lanning) Straley. He graduated from Jay County High School in 1980 and served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
Survivors include:
One brother — Dave Straley (wife: Pam), Geneva, Indiana
One stepsister — Vicki Miller, Portland, Indiana
Cousins — Greg Lanning, Lisa Hardman and Alice Imel
Private burial will be held at Center Cemetery, west of Portland.
Arrangements are entrusted to Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.
