Muhlenkamp, Homan honored by the Midwest Athletic Conference

FRHS juniors led Fort Recovery to a 2-7 record in conference for eighth place out of 10 teams

The Tribe struggled when facing Midwest Athletic Conference foes.

Still two Indians received honors from the conference.

The MAC released its 2025 All-MAC volleyball awards on Monday with Fort Recovery High School’s Cameron Muhlenkamp and Bridget Homan both receiving honors.

The Indians (10-12, 2-7 MAC) weren’t represented on the first team All-MAC, but Muhlenkamp was one of 13 players that made it onto the second team.

The junior led FRHS with 208 kills on the season, including 71 from matches against conference foes. She also had the most aces of the Indians with 49, while her 193 digs only trailed Kayla Gaerke. Bridget Homan was listed as a MAC honorable mention as well. Homan’s 154 kills trailed only Muhlenkamp.

She also finished with the second-most blocks on the Tribe with 39, while Alexis Grisez had 44. Homan had 18 of those blocks in MAC matches.

Fort Recovery finished eighth in the MAC, tying New Knoxville and beating St. John’s. New Bremen took home the crown with an 8-1 record.
