Fort Recovery library hosting used book sale
Fort Recovery Public Library will host a used book sale Jan. 12 through Jan. 17.
Free will donations will be accepted for materials from the sale. The library accepts donations of clean and gently used items. Items not accepted are materials in poor condition, encyclopedias, dictionaries, textbooks, magazines, cassettes and VHS tapes.
The library is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Fridays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.

Learning series
John Jay Center for Learning’s next senior lunch and learn series is coming up this week.
Rusty Inman will share a presentation on maple syrup harvesting at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the learning center. Lunch starts at 11:30 a.m., with the presentation to follow.
Reservations are $5 for seniors 55 years old and older.
