There was one new filing to run for election Monday morning in Jay County. David L. Champion of rural Redkey filed to run for Richland Township Trustee. Offices up for election include sheriff, the middle district Jay County Commissioner seat and four Jay County Council seats. The deadline to file is Feb. 6.
