Two new candidates have filed to run for election, including Republican Fona Masters of rural Portland for the District 2 seat on Jay County Council. Harold Towell currently holds that seat. He has not yet filed to run for re-election. Also filing Wednesday morning was Republican Tammy Horn for Pike Township Trustee.
