FORT RECOVERY — Any hope of a Cavalier comeback faded as the Tribe defense clamped down.

The game was tight and relatively low-scoring throughout, with the Indians (9-5, 3-2 MAC) up by two after the opening quarter. That remained the margin as the home team took a 23-21 advantage into halftime before pushing the lead to four heading into the final quarter.
Broday Barga paced Fort Recovery, scoring all of his 11 points in the opening half. Nine of those came in the first quarter.
Colson Post tallied all of his nine points in the second half, including six of the eight for the Indians in the fourth quarter. Breaker Jutte added eight points, and Hudson Overman added five.
Caleb Schroer of the Cavaliers (7-6, 2-3 MAC) matched Barga with 11 points. He hit two 3-pointers in the first half.
Landon Kanpke followed with seven points, and Nolan Gruss scored six.
