AS I SEE IT

Snowmen can makes us forget

Have you made a snowman yet this year?

Christmas presents challenges

It’s almost Christmas.

Hoping for more joy in new year

The year is almost over. Finally. I was beginning to think it would never end.

Just another precious day

It is almost noon.

Health overshadows season

I had intended to write about reindeer this week.

Kids showered with presence

We are home again.

She is in winter of her life

I saw a lone rabbit huddled in the backyard yesterday.

Thankful mom is healing

Last Wednesday was a wonderful day. I met Mom at the doctor’s office.

Water woes have her wishing

My daughter sent me a cartoon today.

Youth full of optimism

Eighteen years ago my nephew was born. He was a tiny, pink baby with a dusting of strawberry blonde hair. Today he is a huge hulk of a boy, and that strawberry blond hair not only covers his head but a good bit of his chin.

Holiday means spring is near

I heard a bird singing as I was shoveling snow last week.

Hyacinths are sign of spring

My hyacinths are beginning to bloom.

Weather may have ruined party

After a busy couple of days all I can do is wait. We had yet another trip to the doctor for my mother last week.

Bless you is said many ways

Bless you.

Party ushered in spring

Spring is finally here. It is still chilly outside but the flowers are pushing through the cold soil, the pussy willow is sporting silvery catkins that almost glow in the sunlight and I wake up to the sound of birds singing.
