Wal-Mart boosts plan to hire more veterans

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. announced this week it is expanding its plan to hire veterans. The company now plans to hire a total of 250,000 recently discharged veterans by 2020 under its Veterans Welcome Home Commitment program. Originally, the retailer planned to hire 100,000 veterans by 2018.
