Jay Schools will be closed for the next four weeks.
Closing and preparing
Fort Recovery schools will be closed beginning Tuesday. Jay School Corporation has released an “initial concept” of how it would handle a potential long-term closure. After-school activities, field trips and extracurriculars have also been suspended for 30 days.
Virus wreaking havoc on sports
The NBA became the first major American sports league to suspend play because of the coronavirus pandemic, raising questions Wednesday night about the future of college basketball's March Madness, other pro sports and high school athletics as well.

OHSAA limits attendance
The OHSAA on Tuesday, following a recommendation from Gov. Mike DeWine, announced all indoor tournament events will continue, but with limited spectators in an effort to slow down the spread of coronavirus.
