Jay County Junior High School’s swim teams obliterated the short-handed host Adams Central Jets on Monday, with the girls winning 140-5 while the boys posted a 106-35 victory.

Finals opportunity
After a rocky first half, the Jay County High School girls basketball team cruised past the Delta Eagles 53-35 in the IHSAA Class 3A sectional semifinal Friday night at Yorktown to make it back to the sectional final for the first time since 2021. It was their 20th consecutive victory.

The St. Henry senior put up 22 points on the Fort Recovery High School boys basketball team to power his team past the Indians for a 68-56 victory on Friday.
