Jay County boys tennis loses regional opener to Tigers 5-0
The Jay County High School boys tennis team’s season came to an end Tuesday at the hands of the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers 5-0 in the IHSAA Regional 14 hosted by Noblesville.
End of the line
The Jay County High School boys soccer team generated numerous chances, but was held scoreless by the Oak Hill Golden Eagles in a 1-0 loss that bounced the Patriots from the Mississinewa Sectional on Tuesday.
Jay draws Spartans
The Jay County High School volleyball team will open the IHSAA Class 3A Sectional 24 hosted by New Castle against the Connersville Spartans in the semifinals.
Running wild
The South Adams offense ran (and threw) wild on the Jay County High School football team Friday night, needing just 11 seconds for its first touchdown and racking up more than 350 yards of offense in the first half as the Starfires handed their visitors a 42-16 defeat Friday.

Elizabeth Barnett scored the final points in the fourth and fifth sets Thursday evening to lift the Jay County High School volleyball team over the Heritage Patriots 24-26, 25-23, 15-25, 25-23, 18-16 to finish undefeated in the ACAC and outright claim the conference title.

Jay County High School girls soccer team pulled off the first 7-0 season in ACAC history by beating the Heritage Patriots 4-0 on Saturday and on Sunday it drew host Yorktown in the in the IHSAA Class 2A Sectional 24 opener.

The Jay County High School football team’s defense created a trio of turnovers and only allowed the Woodlan Warriors 48 yards of offense as the Patriots picked up their first Allen County Athletic Conference win of the season 21-7 on Friday night.

Momentum keeps building for the Jay County High School volleyball team as it picked up a 23-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-12, 15-10 comeback victory over the Class 2A No. 9 South Adams Starfires on Tuesday to win its fifth consecutive match and remain first in the Allen County Athletic Conference standings.
