Patriots place second at New Palestine Invite
Three Patriots were champions of their weight class to power the Jay County High School girls wrestling team to second place at the New Palestine Invitational on Saturday.

Maleah Parsons pinned Addison Flores 21 seconds into the second period to help the Jay County High School girls wrestling team to a 60-6 victory over the Blackford Bruins in Thursday’s season opener. The Patriots also took down the North Miami Warriors 48-18.

Joseph Boggs ran past his target runner, caught the next group of four and passed them down the home stretch to place fourth for Jay County High School in the boys cross country sectional race hosted by Delta on Saturday at Taylor University.
