We are writing to express our heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful community for its tremendous support of the recent concerts held at the Hudson Family Park amphitheater as part of the Hudson Family Park Amphitheater Concert Series.
Downtown planters to take hiatus
To the editor: Since the summer of 2020, Portland Main Street Connect, along with the Portland Redevelopment Commission, installed planters on Meridian Street in downtown Portland.
Concern expressed about artificial surface
Concerns on whether artificial turf contributed to Aaron Rodgers’ injury has to be concerning to every sports parent whose child will play on it.
Celebration will be held for church
To the editor: Driving through town and along country roads, we often see old churches and schools that have closed. Yesterday, one church we passed was very special to us. It was the Bethel United Methodist Church. Its two signs were blank. It just recently closed.
