The swim team looked dominant in its first dual meet of the year. Its fortunes didn’t change come the second meet. The Jay County Summer Swim team remains undefeated after demolishing the combined Blackford and Marion team 744-292 on Monday at Portland Water Park.
Leonhard’s five goals lead Wasps
Mabel Leonhard’s five goals surpassed Kenna Penrod for the highest in the Pennville Soccer Club Stinger division and led the A Place to Grow Wasps to a 6-0 win over the AgBest Express Bees, but couldn’t overcome the Patriot Sportswear Hornets for a 3-1 loss.
