County highway will get new position
Jay County Highway Department is getting a new position. Jay County Council agreed to create a position for assistant superintendent for the department during its meeting Wednesday.
Sprunger leaving chamber
Tabby Sprunger will be leaving Jay County Chamber of Commerce. The chamber announced in an email to members Thursday morning that Sprunger, the chamber’s executive director, has accepted a new job.

Village, school partner on grant
The village has secured multiple grants in the last few months. Word of another recently came from the governor’s office.
