Committee passes school funding bill
INDIANAPOLIS — A bill passed Wednesday through committee in the Indiana House of Representatives would ensure annual funding for Jay Schools wouldn’t decrease because of its virtual students.
Complimentary, and critical
There were a lot of compliments Monday for local efforts to improve school finances. The same could not be said for the state legislature.

Fort Recovery school staff have the option to take coronavirus vaccines.

Students were expecting to be away from school for a dozen days. Seventh through 12th graders will tack another week onto that number.
Jay Schools closed
Jay Schools are closed today because of inclement weather. It will be an e-learning day. (No delay was called because the corporation was on its built-in two-hour delay today.)
Virtual improvement
The verdict is in. The first extended virtual learning of 2020-21 proved to be an improvement over the experience from the close of the previous school year.
