Indians earn first girls golf MAC title by one stroke
CELINA, Ohio — The Indians made school history on Sept. 12 by beating St. Henry to secure a perfect Midwest Athletic Conference schedule to set themselves up for a title.
Snow moves on
MUNCIE — Maddy Snow has consistently improved her performance at the sectional. As a freshman in the No. 3 position, she shot a 115 for the fourth Patriot score. The following year, Snow shaved off six strokes to provide the second score for her team.
Screened out
The Jay County High School football team traded shots with the Class 2A No. 9 Bluffton Tigers on Friday night, but came up short after a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns as the Tigers stayed undefeated with a 34-25 victory.
Boggs powers SJ over Indians
The St. John’s Blue Jays scored 27 consecutive points Friday as they handed the Fort Recovery High School football team a 27-14 defeat.

The Patriots have now seen all three potential sectional opponents. First they took down the Indians 4-1, only dropping the No. 1 doubles contest to a power pair.

The Fort Recovery High School boys golf team’s score of 327 at the OHSAA Southwest Division III Sectional at Shelby Oaks Golf Club put them eight strokes above the cutline on Tuesday morning to advance them to the district match.

Patriots dominate Randolph Southern Invitational
The Jay County High School girls cross country team snuck away with a narrow victory at the Randolph Southern Invitational, beating the next three teams by three points or less.
Diller runner-up at Troy Twilight
Reese Diller smashed his career best time by just under a minute to lead the Fort Recovery High School boys cross country team to a 18th-place finish out of the 32-team field at the Troy Twilight on Saturday.
