Jay County Civic Theatre is having auditions for "The Sound of Music" on Monday and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at South Adams High School Auditorium in Berne and Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church in Portland.

Whitney L. Mosby, a 1995 graduate of Jay County High School, has received the Young Lawyer of the Year Award from the Indianapolis Bar Association for her leadership in the Young Lawyers Division.
Senior fitness sessions set (02/02/08)
The Jay Community Center welcomes seniors (ages 55 and older) to participate in a winter learning and fitness session beginning Monday, Feb. 11, with a free breakfast at 7:30 a.m.Classes will be offered in introduction to fly tying, healthy cooking, card making/scrapbooking, bean bag toss, ping pong, knitting and woodcarving.
Scholarship fund gets donation (02/06/08)
