The 11th annual fall “Ride With Pride” fund run will be held Saturday and will begin at Ridgeville American Legion Post No. 507.
Counseling programs honored
The counseling programs at East Jay Middle School, West Jay Middle School and Jay County High School were recently honored by the Indiana Department of Education and will receive the Indiana Gold Star School Counseling Award.
Annual pumpkin fest set
A new activity will be added this year to the annual Pumpkin Fest held at the Myers Farm at 807 West 500 North.
Portland and Fort to have Octoberfests
The ninth annual Jay County Heritage Festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 1, and Sunday, Oct. 2, on the grounds of the Jay County Historical Museum.
Portland native to have book signing
Jay County native Margaret Ronald will be signing her books and reading from her work at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, at Flights of Fantasy Books and Games, Albany, N.Y.

The 28th Annual Limberlost Antique Gas Engine Show will be held Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Geneva.
