The National Center for Great Lakes Native American Culture will have its 16th Annual NCGLNAC Summer Cultural Arts Classes at Jay County Fairgrounds.
Jamborees to begin Sunday at Limberlost
The first of three Limberlost Bluegrass Jamborees will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Limberlost State Historic Site in Geneva.
Dunkirk police will hold crime watch meetings
The Dunkirk Police Department will present a series of meetings at West Jay Community Center for its new Neighborhood Crime Watch Program for Dunkirk citizens. All meetings will begin at 7 p.m.
Cahokia author to speak in Fort Recovery
Fort Recovery State Museum will have a special speaker at 3 p.m. July 17 at Fort Recovery Nazarene Family Center, 401 E. Boundary St.

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Indiana State parks, a special centennial program will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Limberlost State Historic Site in Geneva.

Local quilt shop to be in Row by Row
Stickley’s Quilt Shop, 104 S. Harrison St. in Portland, will participate in Row by Row Experience, a shop hop where participants visit quilt shops and receive a free pattern for a row in a quilt.
Historical museum open for PHS alumni
Jay County Historical Society will hold an open house this weekend at its museum at the east end of Main Street in Portland in conjunction with the Portland High School Alumni Banquet, which is set for Saturday.
Born 2 Learn camps to be held for kids
The Youth Service Bureau will host free Born 2 Learn Day Camps for children 3 months to age five.
Seminar to be held at Wesleyan Church
Wesleyan Tabernacle, 122 E. Race St. in Portland, will have a prophecy seminar on Sunday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
