Baroque group visiting Muncie

Library offering brackets
Jay County Public Library’s annual March Madness bracket competition begins in full swing Monday. This year brackets are available for both men’s and women’s basketball.
Asbury egg hunt set for Saturday
Asbury United Methodist Church is hosting an Easter egg hunt from 2 to 4 p.m. March 30. The event will take place at the church, 204 E. Arch St., Portland, and include candy, games and prizes. Entry is free.

Training sessions begin next month
Jay County’s Purdue Extension office is partnering with local fire departments to offer emergency preparedness for rural families training sessions in March.
Museum, historic sites offer free admission day
Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites will be offering free admission on Presidents’ Day at its 12 locations across the state, including Limberlost State Historic Site in Geneva.

Fort Recovery charities raise $20k
The organization recently released its 2023 campaign results, which announced its total donations at $20,589. That’s an increase of $1,364 from 2022.
JCCT auditions are March 12 and 13
Jay County Civic Theatre announced Thursday that auditions for its production of Disney’s “Finding Nemo Jr.” will be Tuesday, March 12, and Wednesday, March 13.
