Maria Laux swims the butterfly for the Jay County Summer Swim Team’s 11-12-year-old girls medley relay team during the Wabash Valley Conference Championship on Saturday. Laux’s team which included Elly Byrum, Kenna Arnold and Kali Wendel won the race to help Jay County to a second place finish falling to Souther Wells by 423.5 points. Laux won all three of her individual events to remain perfect on the season. (The Commercial Review/Andrew Balko)
