There was plenty of marching band activity Friday night as the Jay County High School Marching Patriots competed in the Anderson Tartan Tournament of Bands at Highland Middle School while Fort Recovery hosted its ice cream social and show debut. Pictured above, bass drummers Dominic Steveson and Austin Jellison perform for JCHS, which placed fifth with a score of 71.175. The Marching Patriots trailed defending state fair champion Kokomo (76.9), Muncie Central (76.85), Anderson (72.85) and Centerville (71.3). (The Commercial Review/Ray Cooney)
