Jay County High School's Katie Rowles, who is ranked seventh in the state, powers through Madison Henderson of Blackford during their regional match Saturday. Rowles won the regional title at 100 pounds but got a tough draw in the semi-state. After a first-round bye, she'll meet sixth-ranked Angelina Clay of Lakeland in the quarterfinal with a state berth on the line. (The Commercial Review/Ray Cooney)

Patriots prep for girls semi-state, boys team state
Two-time defending state champion Mallory Winner will face a loaded semi-state bracket as she seeks to put herself in position to stand atop the podium again. And the Jay County High School boys wrestling team will have to overcome a squad it has lost to this season in order to have a shot at its first team state title.
