Patriots see improvements from younger wrestlers in 60-12 victory
It wasn’t the strongest freshman year for Sophia Thomas, finishing the year with only five victories. The Patriot sophomore grabbed a win in her first four matches, but it was her fifth contest of the year that produced one of her best results. Thomas won her second match of the year by fall with just three seconds remaining in the first period to add to the No. 3 Jay County High School girls wrestling team’s 60-12 victory over the Columbia City Eagles on Thursday.
