Work is nearing completion on the 57,700-square-foot apron expansion project at Portland Municipal Airport. Portland firefighter Zach Hudson visted Portland Board of Aviation on Wednesday to share details about work toward creating a formal plan for emergency responses at the airport. He suggested that the area of the apron expansion could be used for staging emergency responders. (The Commercial Review/Ray Cooney)
