Portland Park Board discussed its proposed 2026 budget during its meeting Tuesday, with board president Brian Ison noting some proposed increases. He said the board’s budget has stayed mostly flat while adding amenities following the opening of Hudson Family Park (playground pictured above) in 2011. The board is requesting additional funds to help with repairs, equipment replacement, capital projects, pond improvements at Hudson to mitigate erosion and paving of driveways, parking lots and trails.
