Joann Randall

Joann Elizabeth (Mumby) Randall, 84, 1519 S. U.S. 27, Portland, died Tuesday at her home.
Born in Mishawaka to Joseph and Catherine (Dilts) Mumby, she was a graduate of Bryant High School. She had lived in Dunkirk for 40 years.
Her husband Norman Randall whom she married on June 6, 1952, preceded her in death.
A member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Portland, she worked as a registered nurse at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital and also at Randall’s Jewelry with her husband.
Surviving are two sons, James Randall, Portland, and Terry Randall, Harrells, North Carolina; a daughter, Elizabeth Hudson (husband: Barry), Portland; a sister, Thelma Battershell, Columbus, Ohio; and six grandchildren.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland with Pastor Hugh Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Muncie.
Visitation is from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be sent to the Jay County Cancer Society, Asbury United Methodist Church or Jay County Humane Society.
