A good deed (10/1/04)
Editor's Mailbag
By To the editor:-
I want to thank the kind gentleman who turned in my Bandido’s apron to the restaurant.
It was my last night of work before heading off to college and I must have put it on top of my car and took off. When I realized I lost my apron, including my tip money inside, I was sure I would never see it again.
This gentleman is very generous and I thank him for his honesty and integrity. My mom always says there are many more kind and giving people in this world than the media portrays. That’s why I need to publicly thank Mr. Wonderful.
Thanks also to my Bandido’s family for giving him two free meals. I am very grateful.
